After you enquire and your date is confirmed, we dive into a collaborative consultation to explore your colours, themes, and the mood you want your portrait to express.

3: FINAL ART
Your portrait is captured, refined through artistic editing, and transformed into a museum-grade giclée print. Your own, one-of-a-kind fine-art piece to treasure.

Your session is calm, intentional and completely bespoke. We begin with your abstract fine-art makeup application, using painterly materials, layered pigments and expressive textures.
You'll be guided through every step - no modelling experience needed. We finish with a relaxed portrait photography moment, capturing the stillness and presence of the final artwork.

Around 2-4 hours, depending on the makeup design, textures, and how many portraits we capture.
Not at all. I'll guide you through every step - your only job is to be present. The artwork emerges through stillness, expression, and mood.
At the moment, Become the Muse is designed as a one-to-one experience so I can focus fully on your individual expression and artwork. Duo sessions may be offered in the future, but they are not currently available.
You'll receive a simple guide before your session. Usually: a strapless top or something that won't interfere with the neckline, and no makeup. A clean base is needed!
Yes, absolutely! Before your session, we'll have a short creative consultation where we explore your preferred colours, themes, and the mood you want your portrait to carry. From there, I design your personalised artwork.
Most pigments remove easily with a gentle cleanse. Some colours - like deeper pinks or blues may leave a very light temporary tint on the skin, but this fades naturally within a short time.
Everything I use is skin-safe, cosmetic-grade, and chosen specifically to protect your skin while allowing us to create expressive, powerful artwork.
Please let me know in advance if you have any sensitivities or skin conditions. Most materials are gentle and safe, and I can adapt the textures or pigments to suit your comfort.
Yes - the final portrait is refined with artistic colour grading and minor retouching, staying true to the painterly textures created on the day.
You receive one hero portrait as a giclée fine-art print, plus the matching digital file. You can add more portraits as an optional add-on.
Yes - all sessions are mobile, and I travel to you. Travel within 20 miles of South Wales is included, with an additional travel fee for locations beyond this.
I bring everything needed for the experience, so any comfortable room with a small amount of space works beautifully - living rooms, dining areas or bedrooms are all perfect.
I only need:
- a clear area roughly 2m x 2m for setup
- access to a plug socket for lighting
I use professional portable lighting, a compact makeup station and protective coverings to ensure your home stays clean. All pigments and materials are used with care, and I always protect the surrounding area before we begin.
Your space will be left exactly as I found it.
Yes - you're more than welcome to have a friend or family member nearby if it helps you feel more comfortable.
I just ask that they stay slightly out of the way during the makeup application and photography, so the space remains calm and focused for both of us.
Your portrait is carefully edited and refined before being professionally printed. Once the giclée print arrives with me, I complete a final quality check and then package it by hand before sending it to you.
The full process typically takes up to 2 weeks from the date of your session. Any digital versions of your portrait are delivered at the same time as the print, so everything arrives together as a complete, finished artwork.
Yes. A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due closer to the session. This ensures the time is reserved exclusively for you and covers initial planning and preparation.
Your booking fee is non-refundable, but you're welcome to reschedule your session with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to my availability. If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, a new booking fee may be required to secure another date.
Yes - this experience can be gifted. I offer digital and printed gift vouchers that can be customised for the Become the Muse session or a specified artwork amount.
