It captures that feeling of being "stuck", when you know there's something inside you trying to break free, but you can't find the strength or clarity to move. The muted tones and heavy texture reflect how I learned to hide behind control, to stay quiet when I wanted to scream.

Suppression is both a self-portrait and a confession. The stillness before the breakthrough.
